Welcome to WoodWinters Online Shop for wines & whiskies.

Drinking wine is about pleasure and should be fun whether you’re buying party wine sub £5 or you’re a canny claret collector. Our shop is … small; compact and bijou. This helps us to focus on our main objective to only list the best. There is simply no room for shelf fillers. Our award winning wine list is a roll call of many of the best producers from around the world.

We have never and will never (strong words we know) sell wines on price promotion. We don’t sell baked beans either.

We do all we can to make our service friendly and personal. We treat our customers like wine-loving friends; pointing them in the right direction and getting to know what they like. And when we know what you like, we can deliver more of it!

Douglas attended the awards dinner on Monday and is seen above collecting the Independent Wine Merchant of the Year: Runner Up from the Retailers Awards Chairman Anthony Rose. Would you like a ready-made wine cellar full of great drinking and age-worthy wines? We can put together a range of wines, champagnes and whisky as part of or as your whole wedding list. We can include anything from single bottles of everyday drinking wines to great wines that need ageing and could be used as an investment. With input from yourseleves we would include products at all price points to suit all your guests' budgets and would be able to discuss their purchases with them so they feel happy they have bought the best wines for you. We can also supply wines and Champagnes for the big day itself. If you have a favourite wine you would like or wish to have a better and more interesting choice, we can supply wines that can be cheaper than the hotel's wine selection even with their corkage charge included.
