About Kathryn Neale GlassAt the completion of Kathryn’s degree at Edinburgh College of Art in 2007, she held a very successful degree show and was thrilled with the public’s response to her work. This success helped give her the confidence to open her own glassmaking studio. She achieved this in 2008 with the help of a grant from PSYBT. The glass is cut and fused at high temperature in a custom-built kiln. Each piece is unique. Kathryn’s glasswork includes large bespoke wall panels, window hangings and bowls as well as a range of contemporary jewellery. The bright vibrant colours that Kathryn uses mirrors her personality; she is a bright bubbly out going young artist with a zest for life.
