About the Ealain Gallery
Ealain Gallery (Ealain being the Gaelic word for art pronounced Ya-Lin) was established in 2006; trading as a promoter and exhibitor of Contemporary Scottish Art, taking the art to the people by exhibiting at locations throughout Scotland; from very high profile events like The Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond to the very prestigious Gleneagles Hotel. To date we have an annual Art Fair "Weekend For Art Lovers" every Easter weekend within The Ballroom at Gleneagles Hotel.
In November 2008 we took up residence in Drymen. The Gallery had changing exhibitions of many very talented artists work from the very established to the up and coming. As whisky was also a passion we opened a whisky section and also a gift section giving our visitors plenty of variety having something for all!
5 years on due to our lease being up we relocated 2 mins up the road The Pottery in Drymen, at this point we lost our Gallery space, however to continued to trade under Ealain Gallery with our extensive range of gifts, whisky and a small selection of affordable Scottish art.
August 2013 Saw the opening of Our Sister shop 'The Stirling Whisky Shop' which is situated at 29 Spittal Street, Stirling FK8 1DU (Bottom corner of The Stirling Highland Hotel)
April 2015 We pulled out of Drymen, this was mainly as the other areas of our business (Stirling Whisky Shop & online sales) were providing to be the stronger arms.
Ealain Gallery Ltd remains trading to this date however evolving as time goes on.
