About Greer RalstonGreer graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a B.A. Hons. in Fine Art. She has worked as a freelance artist for a number of years and has works in public and private collections in the UK and abroad. As well as working as an artist, Greer also lectures for colleges and is regularly invited to give presentations on numerous topics to art groups across Scotland. Greer's work is mainly figurative art, or relating to items that are connected to the figure e.g. clothes, shoes etc. The use of dramatic and theatrical poses helps to show the strength and sexuality possessed by the body. Sometimes older or less conventional models are used. This makes us question the everyday image of what or who we perceive to be attractive.
